Canvas posters are an excellent, professional way to display your photography or artwork. Prints on canvas are traditionally stretched over a wooden frame to preserve the artwork by keeping it taut. This method of stretching the canvas is often called a "gallery wrap." Most custom framing stores offer this service.
Heritage Makers canvas posters are printed at 20"x24". When working on your canvas poster project, you will see a gray bleed space which marks off a space of 16"x20". If you plan to have your poster gallery wrapped, you will need to keep your important images and text within the 16"x20" white space. This allows the necessary two inches to be wrapped around a 16"x20" frame. We recommend that you extend your background colors all the way through the gray bleed space so that you don't end up with thin white edges showing on your poster after it has been wrapped.
If you do not plan to have your poster gallery wrapped, you can extend your images and text all the way through the gray space to the thin red trim line. The total size of your poster will be 20"x24".
